Why a Pressure Regulator is included with the WHOLLY WATER ® Purifier

To prevent water pressure from exceeding 60 psi and to provide a continuous flow of water that will not be over one gallon per minute.
This keeps the flow rate at the same levels that our water purity tests are performed at.



We will send connection for a 3/8" pipe size. We also have a 1/4" connection available.
(Note: Pressure Regulator can also be used on another brand of water filter, but check connection size.)

A Pressure Regulator is included with the purchase of our WHOLLY WATER ® The Ultimate Drinking Water Appliance, but you may order a Pressure Regulator for your own existing under-counter water filter. To Order Separately

Please note that on a municipal water supply, water pressure may go up very high at night.
For example, even though your water pressure is 50 psi during day, it can exceed 135 psi at night when people
aren't using a lot of water. Some municipal systems are prone to water hammer when pressure spikes go very high. Failure to install regulator with Appliance will void warranty and may adversely affect performance of Appliance.

In fact, it is recommended that you have your plumber install a pressure regulator on plumbing system for your whole house to protect your plumbing (consult with us for this).

• It automatically reduce the high incoming water pressure from the city mains to provide a lower, more functional pressure for distribution.
  
• It "regulates" by maintaining a set pressure in the home usually 50 lbs. thereby insuring that the piping and appliances operate under a safe, more moderate, but satisfactory pressure.
