Magnetizer removed scale from piping, radiation, and control valves. The decrease in boiler stack temperature is a result of the Magnetizer system removing scale from the boiler tube allowing larger heat transfer.

Chromally Corp. Test, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania - Gratifying results with respect to the heat-treated water: TDS, pH, bacteria, erosion, scaling, and general appearance of cooling towers and coils. Well-known chemical company monitoring the tests was surprised by excellent results provided by the magnetic treatment over a 2.5 year period.

City of Seattle - Test on Cooling Tower. One year test. Arctic Building, Seattle. After 12 months of use: Tower is still free of algae, damper; operates without calcium deposits, and the mineral deposits on the walls are all but gone. During year no maintenance was performed except for verifying water levels and occasionally blowing down sump.

Based upon previous manual de-scaling operations, the MAGNETIZER installation is saving USCD $4,200 annually in labor and chemicals. However, it should be noted that the $4,200 does not reflect total savings. Since the MAGNETIZER unit keeps the boiler scale free on a continuous basis, there is an additional energy savings. The energy loss from 1.16 inch of scale is 11% and 1/8 inch of scale can cause 18% loss due to poor thermal transfer efficiency. However, it should also be noted that thermal transfer properties of scale vary widely, and in extreme cases losses can be as high as 15% for every 1 1/16-inch thickness of scale deposit. Therefore, the savings in heat transfer efficiency are not recorded as part of the $4,200. These are large savings in addition to the MAGNETIZER maintenance savings.
