COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY
The heart of the COMMANDER CONTROL is a highly sophisticated microprocessor which eliminates the need for a mechanical timer or meter.
The COMMANDER computer automatically measures how much soft water you actually use day  after day.
It continually monitors changes in usage and regenerates on demand only.

TURBINE METERING SYSTEM
The COMMANDER metering system has only one moving part...
a rotating turbine that measures water usage and sends magnetic impulses to the electronic computer. It automatically adjusts the reserve capacity to meet your actual water usage needs.

BACK UP SYSTEM WORKS WITHOUT A BATTERY
During a power outage, all of the data in the microprocessor's memory is stored in a special electronic chip called NOVRAM, Nonvolatile Random Access Memory. The NOVRAM will maintain the data in its memory. When power is restored, the NOVRAM returns the data to the microprocessor and operation resumes as if an outage never occurred.
