In May of 1999, Paul Garcia’s mother, Mrs. Angelina Garcia of California, was diagnosed with a severe case of pancreatitis, an infection in the pancreas caused by an overdose of antibiotics. Within two days she was admitted into the emergency room. A day later she was moved into the Intensive Care Unit, and within two and a half weeks, she had slipped into a coma. There are some basic physical laws that come into play with the Body Electric. The Body Electric is the energy flow found in the human body. Our contemporary age of technology occurs from running wires through magnetic fields to create the electricity for our homes, transportation and most things we use in everyday life. The primary physical law of magnetism is that one pole of the magnet energizes (excites) and makes all the electrons of any material in its field spin in a specific direction. The opposite pole makes the electrons spin in the opposite direction. Depending on which pole is used to energize the electron spin, the charge given off will either be positive or negative.

Researchers, through the years, have identified that the healthy cell tissue quantitatively gives off a distinct high-negative, micro-voltage charge (potential). When trauma, stress or malfunction occurs, the cell changes from its healthy, strong-negative potential to a weak-negative potential, or in extreme cases, changes to a positively charged state. When this occurs, the nerve relay system immediately transmits a signal to the brain, which floods the problem area with healing negative charges to correct the chaotically charged cellular disorientation.

If the problem is chronic or long term, an entire cellular area can form a general disorientation of the weak-negative charge value, or in an extreme condition - a positively charged state. In this unhealthy cellular electrical climate, the cell’s membrane and nucleus form inverse, incorrect charges, which prevent oxygen and the essential micronutrients from entering and correctly metabolizing in the cell. This long-term condition often leads to cellular damage, which can change the DNA creating many problems, including cancer.

It is extremely important to understand that health is determined by the electromagnetic vitality of the cells to maintain the perfect chemical balance. Cells transfer necessary elements and spent energy (waste) through various channels by little electromagnets.

Proper electrical vitality of the cell creates the natural DNA computer that arranges all the essential elements to properly organize and metabolize correctly. In the inverse, the weak-charged or wrong electrical climate slows and/or shuts down the correct metabolic process and chemical balance.

The negative field of a magnet is used most often to correctly stimulate (potentiate) and reorganize the electron (spin) charge which results in creating the healthy cellular charge state of a strong-negative potential. The negative field is used in most treatments to help the body heal. When a cell’s electrical charge is elevated from its stressed, improperly charged state to a highly-charged negative state, the cell’s natural ionic forces (little magnetic channels) are suddenly able to function properly and correctly metabolize all the necessary micro-nutrients.

The primary point is that the properly designed biomagnetic field can dynamically manipulate the electrical charge of the cellular tissue back to a normal, healthy condition - thereby a return to health.

Based on years of research, Magnetizer’s Scientific Institute has found that the geological North, negative magnetic field treatment, is best used in most instances to calm physical stress and promote healing. The negative pole treatment can be used almost any time without problems. But with the positive pole, you may be playing with fire and you must know what you are doing!

It is simple. If healthy tissue is naturally charged negative, it is improper to charge any stressed tissue with positive for any length of time because it would further stress the area. This goes against the laws of cellular physics and has shown to result in reactive, continuing physical problems.

It is important for the consumer to be product wise when purchasing biomagnets for health treatments.

Why is this a warning? A recurrent problem in this science and the biomagnetic health and research industry is that magnet manufacturers, and many people in general, do not understand the important difference in universally marking the poles correctly. Additionally, some biomagnet companies are actually insensitive or ignorant in the use of proper field treatments.

It is important for you, the end user, to understand the basic, vital difference between the geological North (negative) and South (positive) Pole effects and to be ‘product wise’ when selecting magnetic products to be used for health treatments.

For example: Many magnet manufacturers put an ‘N’ or an ‘S’ on their magnets. But, their ‘N’ or ‘S’ marking is an engineer’s symbol and means North or South seeking. What seeks the North? The South seeks the North.
That means the ‘N’ on the magnet may be the South (positive) Pole, a dangerous pole to use indiscriminately!

This is important because incorrectly marked magnets can be dangerous to your health. An example would be when you’re constantly using south (positive) on an area you wouldn’t want stimulated such as: edema, tumors, anaerobic bacteria, etc.

The geological North Pole is negative. Negative charges create negative energy, the calming healing energy. Since so many do not know the difference between the true poles and the “seeking” poles of a magnet, Magnetizer, as a scientific biomagnetic institute, along with other true researchers, have chosen to use Negative
(-) and Positive (+) markings on our biomagnets. For your safety, all biomagnets are triple tested with a measuring instrument known as a magnetometer. This testing device accurately reads negative (geological North) and positive (geological South). The universal markings for these poles are Green for Negative (-) and Red for Positive (+).

Be aware of what kind of biomagnets you’re getting before you buy. Insist on true geological North (negative) and South (positive). Wrong pole markings can be harmful to your health.

To test magnets for correct polarity, you’ll need a compass. The south pole needle of the compass that points to the geological North Pole of the earth will point to the true Negative North Pole of the magnet.

Some magnetic products, unfortunately, are not as easy to test. Such a product is the Multi-Polar Pad.
Again, buyers beware. This kind of magnetic device can be a costly mistake both to your health and pocketbook.

This is a magnetic pad worn on the body. It varies in size from a credit card to as big as 9” by 12” or larger and has either a bi-polar North/South, negative/positive configuration biomagnet or a multiple negative/positive configuration known as multi-polar magnetic fields in varying degrees. We have also seen a headband of bi-polar biomags. It is essential that NO POSITIVE or Bi-Polar (Aggregate positive) go on the head. This is wrong. Although a Bi-polar biomagnet has a very shallow depth of penetration because the Positive (+) and negative (-) flux immediately attract each other laterally and nullify any depth of penetration, it also creates an aggregate positive charge as explained below.

Knowledgeable researchers worldwide are concerned about unmarked and bi-polar magnets! This type of magnetic field applied to the body without proper guidelines is like giving a child a medical kit with a scalpel and saying: “Okay, you’re a surgeon now, go out and practice. You’ve got your Doctorate!”

For example: A multi-pole magnetic pad or headband has multiple charges. What exactly does this mean in terms of health?

The magnetic fields in a pad/band such as this are placed in a positive/negative, positive/negative configuration. Scientific research has confirmed that whenever there are multi-positive/negative poles, the end result is an aggregate South Pole positive charge-state. Consider that positive is light and negative is dark - putting them together gives light - or a positive charge. Scientifically, because the positive pole is expanding and the negative is contracting, the positive pole is always larger. Remember, in most cases, healing occurs best with negative North Pole treatment, where as positive South Pole stresses the area.

Upon first usage, this type of multi-polar biomagnet may make one feel better. Any type of biomagnet like this will stimulate metabolism, just the way a cup of coffee can make one feel good because it speeds up the heart. Not that this is a good idea, as a matter of fact, prolonged stimulation of the metabolism and cellular tissue activity is definitely not good for a person.

Within a short period of time, this type of multi-polar configuration works by stressing the body with positive charges that in turn sends a stronger signal to the brain to transmit negative charges to relieve the stress.
This is analogous to putting a lit match to a burn to make it heal faster. This procedure of activated, over-stimulated stress can lead to cases of aberrated growth behavior where the cells weaken and start to regenerate into a mutation. Furthermore, the polarity of the healthy surrounding cells, which have a strong-negative charge value, will start to change and weaken under the continued, positive magnetic influence.

For example: Multi-polar mattress pads in some cases have shown increases in cancer and prolonged the debilitation of individuals with fibromyalgia and other illnesses. Since the aggregate positive multi-polar fields of the bed stimulate metabolism and in turn interfere with sleep, rest, and recuperation, it will keep the individual in a restrictive healing state, which is very injurious to the body.
Another very well known example: When one has an injury that produces swelling, doctors prescribe ice to reduce the swelling, not heat. A negative field is calming– healing and helps reduce the swelling, like ice. However, the positive field, like heat, is stimulating and therefore stimulates swelling.
Most multi-polar companies warn not to use their systems for kidney disease, viral or bacterial problems, cancer, sinusitis and/or a number of other ailments. This type of warning indicates that these multi-pole energies are the wrong fields for treatment whereas properly focused, single pole biomagnets are used on these problems with great success.

It is important to note however, that there are three areas of the body where multi-polar pads may be used successfully.

1. Back pain caused by muscle trauma: The use of the positive pole in this case, will increase fluids (intra/extra cellular) in and around the cells. This will separate the vertebrae relieving the pinched nerves. Case studies show that the single positive pole has a faster healing effect than the weaker multi-polar positive pole. It is important to use the negative on the sternum (breastbone) at the same time in order to insure that the rest of the body is receiving the correct charge.

2. The stomach, for acid indigestion: The multi-polar positive treatment can be used for treatment of acid indigestion, although the single positive pole treatment is stronger and much more effective. Placed on the stomach, the positive pole treatment will neutralize acidity.

3. Small intestine, as an aid to digestion: Using the multi-polar positive or a small single positive pole for 10-20 minutes after eating (placed just below the belt line) will aid digestion and peristalsis, the muscular action of the colon. Worn for 3-5 hours a day, it has shown to help increase muscle tone and decrease weight when proper diet is followed. When using the Positive (+) application anywhere on the body, it is very important to wear the Negative (-) on the sternum to insure correct systemic body charge.

The negative and positive pole techniques on the body are critical for successful biomagnetic treatments.
When used properly, Biomagnets are safe and have no known side effects. Remember that negative pole treatments can be used almost any time without causing a problem. However, with the positive pole, you must know what you are doing! Beware of multi-polar systems. It is important to note that all treatments must be handled with care.

• Stimulates the organs in its energy field. Increases activity. Also, attracts and increases hydrogen activity.
• Causes an acid reaction (except in the STOMACH where it neutralizes and stops the pain); it increases acidity.
• Expands and enlarges tissues by increasing inter and intracellular fluids. Great for back aches.
• Dilates blood vessels. Vasodilator. Can create additional bleeding when there is a cut or abrasion.
• Should not be used on inflammation.
• The South Pole should be applied carefully and used only in specific techniques defined in this book.
